2012 In Review.

Here are just a few of my favorites from this past year, there were plenty more I wanted to put but didn't and there more plenty I didn't want to put at all.... yikes (what was I thinking) It's funny because I don't say too much on the blog, however when I look back at these pictures it takes me back to what was going on in that point in my life and since I am really the worst at keeping a journal I'm grateful for these pictures and the memories they provide.

Thanks for following along and sticking with me through the break! Hope you all have a fantastic New Years Eve I'll See you in 2013!

Hello!

Hello! It's been so long, how have you been? Sorry for my random extremely long absence from the blog, life has been a little crazy. Let me just update you a minute. We're moving!! Out of Rexburg! But don't hold your breath we might decide to move back like last year. I'm kidding let's pray that does not happen, actually I'm 100% sure that is not going to happen.

We will be moving to the Salt Lake area at the end of this week, David started a new job last month and has been working there and then from home. So he has been all over the place this last month and we are excited to finally be settled in just one place.

So with all the fun and stress that comes with moving and the end of the semester rush I've decided to take a little break from blogging. Not that I've already been doing that, but now that it's official I don't have to feel guilty for everyday I don't post. I want to take this time to just enjoy the holidays and focus on what matters most. I have to be honest and say that this past little break from the internet has been nice, but at the same time I do miss it, so after the new year I will be back in full force!

I hope you have a lovely holiday, and I will see you after the new year!

P.S. I will still be on twitter on instagram.

The Mans Got Talent

This guy was flown to Denver last minute to go do some design work for a company he does freelance work for. And while I am so proud of him I'm also ready for him to come home and save me. It's a dangerous thing leaving a pregnant lady who can't cook alone all weekend. Note to self re heating cold pizza is a bad idea just eat it cold.

Now I'm off to go clean up all the messes I made before he gets home.... Yikes!

Famous!

Top: Bohme (utah) Leggings: J. Crew, Boots: Target, Necklace: F21.

Well friends I got my 15 minutes of fame yesterday! That's right after being an absolute no body on campus for most of my college career they let me into the school newspaper. No more waiting in the long financial aid lines or parking tickets for me, this girl is a famous student now. I hope this also means I get free Freshens whenever I want cause those smoothies are delicious!

It's Ok:

- If after months of debate you wake up one morning decide it's time to go brown and Love it!

- To use your pregnancy as an excuse to take the Elevator over the stairs. I always get dirty looks as I wait for the elevator in the Clarke building. However in the Spori there is always a big group of people waiting to get on.

- If you didn't carve a pumpkin this year.

- If you think pigs in a blanket are delicious and should count as a real meal.

-That you don't have your Halloween costume planned out yet.... any suggestions?

Happy Halloween! Hope you have a spooky time!

And Baby Makes 3

Skirt: F21, Shoes/Shirt: H&M, Lips: Revlon Color Me Coral Belt: J.Crew

First off  I just want to say Thank You!! for all the love you've shown us our newest adventure! We couldn't be more excited and your comments, congratulations, joy, and love just makes us that much more happy! I've never felt so much love in the bloggersphere in my life, so thank you, thank you!

It was so hard keeping our secret for that long, so many times I wanted to announce it. It felt so good to finally let everyone know and oh boy am I glad we did! It's like getting married all over again everyone wants to run up and give me a big hug, and oh how I love the hugs!

As of now I am 18 weeks, which means I am almost half way through, Crazy!! Baby Boy is Due on April 3rd, although I'm secretly wishing he comes on March 31 (Easter Sunday) since his dad was born on an Easter Sunday and it would make a great story.  We are almost 99% sure on a name but I want to wait until he is here to share it in case I change my mind once I see him. Apparently that happens.....

I think it goes without saying the blogs neglect has been because of baby making me so sick. For the first little or should I say looong while it was hard enough to get dressed let alone put on makeup, but things are getting much better I'm starting to feel like myself again just an extremely tired version of myself. However that is all suppose to pass at some point, hopefully soon.

Thanks again for all the love, we couldn't be more thrilled to be parents.

Oh Boy!

We're having a baby (surprise) and it's a Boy!

Before our ultrasound yesterday I made two cards one for boy and one for girl, we told the ultrasound technician not to tell us what we were having but rather put the picture in the correct envelope. Then we ran over to meet our friends so we could find out the big news together, while my lovely sister-in-law took these wonderful pictures of our priceless reactions!

Pumpkins and Pirates

Pants: Nordstrom, Boots: Target, Sweater: Gap, Shirt: H&M. Necklace: F21.

I wore this to the pumpkin patch in Idaho Falls on Saturday when my cute sister in-law and her family were in town visiting for the weekend. It's the perfect outfit for picking pumpkins or if your suddenly invited to attend a pirate themed birthday party. Either or. I like to plan ahead when getting dressed in the morning you never know where the day may lead.  And you better believe I'm wearing this again today so no judging if you see me, or you can just invite me to your pirate party.

Fancy with Panache

The Lovely Ladies of Panache asked me to stop by earlier this week to style a mannequin for them as apart of their new blog series. These navy pants were the first thing I saw when I walked in and think they are the perfect colored jean for fall. You can read  more about it here.

A big Thanks to Kate for being so patient with me as I tried a million different outfits only to go back to the navy pants, and for taking these pictures!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend, sorry posting has been so sparse, great things are coming next week just you wait!

Conference Weekend

Getting up this morning was way too hard, we had such a good weekend I was seriously mourning it's end. Friday night we went out with friends to one of the best restaurants in Idaho. The Snake Bite is phenomenal it really makes this crazy town all worth it.

The rest of the weekend was spent listening to LDS General Conference, with breaks in between to take a brisk fall walk in the leaves, hang out with friends, catch a movie, and stuff ourselves full of Heathers amazing breakfast casserole.

It's Ok

(Fall is here)

It's Ok.....

- To do this post without an actual outfit. (since when does the sun go down at 7?)

- To eat Taco Bell two days in a row.....

- If you get in your PJ's as soon as you get home.

- To park you scooter in a spot you know is not allowed, but you also happen to know this particular spot never gets checked. As far as you know.

- If you still haven't mailed a birthday gift that is now almost a month late. Yikes! I don't know how to make time for the post office.

- To rely a little too much on the dry shampoo.

-If your the only one who didn't get the joke.

- If your told your bishop that he should call your husband to scouts knowing it was his least favorite thing growing up. (It will be good for him)

- If you had a long venting party last night to relieve some of the pain. (thanks for listening hubs)

Now it's your turn, leave your it's ok moments in the comments below.

October 1st On A Monday

Someone told me the other day it was such a blogger cliche to love Fall. Is this true? I was unaware, I just thought it was a matter of opinion on which season you like best. And what's not to love about Fall?

Either way now that October is here it truly feel like Fall and I don't have to feel so guilty for wearing my boots everyday. This weekend was mostly just me and the hubs (a nice change of pace) we went to the straw maze, made crock pot chili and cornbread, stayed in and snuggled while watching movies, and planned out our Halloween costume. Last year we were making them just minutes before we left the house. This may happen again but at least we have an idea.

Happy October 1st!

Shirt: F21, Sweater: Gap(here), Pants: Paige Denim(here), Shoes: Target (here), Necklace: F21.

Yesterday I decided to be a really good house wife and clean up the apartment before the hubs got home. I got home a whole 45 minutes before he did, plenty of time time to get some things cleaned. Well it was definitely enough time to vacuum the living room, throw a bunch of random items into the second bedroom and watch barefoot contessa whip up some fancy dessert I can't spell. No really I tried and I'm too lazy to look it up in Google.

So I don't win the award for house wife of the year or spelling bee champ however I have blogged for two days in a row, and that's something to be proud of.

It's Ok

- If you watched The Katy Perry movie for date night.

- That you actually thought 4 X 2 was 12 for a good solid 5 minutes.

- If you wanted to slap the girl that said your watercolor that you spent days on looked like toon town!

- If you seriously contemplated not shaving your legs all winter.

- To come up with ridiculous nick names for you cat that your husband just can't stand.

- If you balled like a baby when the MoTab sang a song from your favorite Christmas movie.

- To only listen to Pandora instead of just buying the darn music.

- If it's been months since you painted your nails. It's just one of those things that I can't ever find the time for. But then there are those girls who change their color every other day. HOW!?!

In honor of the first day of fall we ventured out into the country* to pick some apples to be made into all sorts of fall treats later. We also went to free zoo day, ate some Barbecue, went shopping, and watched my favorite fall movie. You've Got Mail. All in the name of Fall! Let the festivities begin!

Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms. - Joe Fox

*and by country I mean the apple orchards on campus. Everyone should go. Only 50 cents a pound.
